Back to Childhood

     Went for lunch at LimKee Pan Mee yesterday with Khailing, Bin, Wencong and Dajie. Me and Bin saw this little thing that we used to play when we were small. Was selling for 20$ only 10 years ago and it's now RM1.50. =) Wencong bought a toy gun with beads bullet. What an excellent idea! Shoot at the neighbour's two damn dog which like to bark non-stop day and night. Stayed for 2 years already still cant recognizable me and keep barking at us. Stupid rite..

End of The Sem..

     It's end of January - April semester and everybody's busy revising for their finals. As for us, we're busy preparing our Final songs for Modern band ensemble, polish up the little details and get everything run smoothly for this Friday's Modern band ensemble final exam. So many night practice and so damn tiring. The junior vocalist is not doing her part well and it's so pack. Wonder if we have enough time to practice them or not. Feel so exhausted and sick with that 3 damn ulcer in my mouth + headache and my body is not functioning properly.
     And UCSI is having UCSI Choir Concert this Thursday, which we contemp  music student hate the most. Oh no, and my Jury exam is next tuesday. So close and so much more to be done. Wish everything comes and ends faster!!!
     Currently waiting for honey to fetch me to uni, i dont think i can walk there or i'll faint in the middle of the road. Feel super uncombable and tired but i cant sleep right now or else i cant wake up for my class at 4.30pm. Super jealous at Khailing, who's goin back hometown for study break today and Bin, no more class!! So unfair, we music students always have no study break and have to sacrifice our time at night for band practice. T_T
     I think i look super "chan" and like a zombie.  I need RED BULL or LIVITA! Ah yeah, went Lim Kei Pan Mee for lunch and Wencong's car was hit by a lousy taxi driver but everyone's fine. Feel so down and not in good luck these few days....
     Oh yeah, went for Cheng Beng last Saturday and saw a weirdo there. She talk to her relatives loudly with the "purposely" sound like "Ang Moh" slang and very proud of it. Everyone was praying there and she was shouting, ei Follow the procedure follow the procedure and she stand there hugging her own hand doing nothing. After that she said somethin like this - "Did you guys follow the tempo?" Me and my bro was like, what the hell, you come to pray or play music? What tempo should we use when praying with the joss stick? Andante? Moderato? Presto? Crazy rite..

     I was wondering why the hell they havent put up a notice on the notice board asking to fill and submit the form for jury examination and suddenly one of my friend told me that the due date was last Wednesday! *wide eye*


     I was worry that i cant take my jury exam again this sem ask i've extended and failed once. Cant sleep and i dont know what to do yesterday night. SMS-ed honey to tell him that i feel very upset and feel like giving up already, very lost.. =( I rolled on the bed with my eyes closed and finally i falled asleep.


     I automatically woke up at 7.30am today and im clueless. So early, i cant go back to sleep, the stupid P1 modem's red light in blinking(means no internet connection) and i got nothing to do. Feel so down and feel like screaming out loud but Rubin and Glenn will probably think that Karyen has gone mad....  *~*


     9am, Khailing called me as i asked her to woke me up yesterday night. I got an sms from my friend, asking me if i need help signing up Jam Room for jury practise but i was thinking.Can i make it to jury practise without that bloody form.. I just reply her and asked her to sign a few slot for me.. I asked her to check if the head of contemp music department is there but he's on leave!! =(


     What can i do??? No!!! How can he on leave when i have such emegency!! =(  Ah dont care, i finally sms him and asked if he can help as i dont wanna waste my time extending another semester and pay more to this lousy UCSI, feels like cabut-ing away from this place... 


     I sms Juan(head) and also Willy(my major teacher) as well but no one replied. Really feels like it's doom and gloom... After awhile, Miss Joey from music department called and asked why i havent submit my form as they need to arrange the time for jury. So i asked can i submit it today she say yes you must! Whoa! Jump with joy i quickly go get ready and hop happily to uni to fill the form, get my teacher's signature and hand it to Miss Joey! After that Juan reply that he'll help me and i need to hand the form to him tmr when he comes to office.  


     Ah.. Finally the dust is settled... everyone's trying to help me.. .Lol Lol Lol.. so everything's done for now and i need to prepare and practise harder for jury!! Whee!! and right now im waiting Bin for breakfast~~ =) 

Online Shopping Craze

     OMG!! I'm crazily obsessed with online shopping nowadays. I used to say that it's better to stay at home so that i wont spend any money but nowadays i can be easily seduced to buy stuff online at home!!
     Right now im looking at the Elf Cosmetic stuff that's being sold by an online blog and it's mad cheap!! Incase if you dont know, Elf Cosmetic is of good quality and currently is the cheapest cosmetic you can get from US and recently Singapore.. Those brush, cheek colour and bronzer, liquid eyeliner and eye primer are so tempting!! And i want their Studio Angled Foundation Brush deadly but no one's selling them in Msia!! Argh! Check it out here.
     Besides I'm aiming at the Victoria Secret perfume and body mist, which i've wanted for long... I've place my orders and waiting for the seller to reply and if everything's ok i'll bank in the amount needed. LOL!! I can't wait!!
     Online shopping is so convenient and so much cheaper compared to those retail store but at the same time it makes me broke real fast!

It's weird that she's askin money from me as she's working already. I feel bad for not helping but if i help im gonna eat grass for the rest of the month. Sorry... T_T


     Came back home and prepared a nice dinner for me and honey... Spaghetti with pork meat and mashed potato. =) Fulfilling and satisfying! Time to sleep now... Good night ***

Home Sweet Home

     Finally back to home after 4 hoursss of journey, suppose to be 2 hours only. Wonder why must the Konsortium bus turn into Jalan Duta before exiting the tol, waste so much time there and the traffic there is always congested. Duh! Reach home at 12am...


     Saturday... *phew* need to teach again.. And yeah, non of them pay fees today,  some of them owe me fees for bout 3 months already, so im officially broke now. This worse thing was they pissed me off again, came to class without practicing. I can't scold them for that or else they'll get emo and cry-so patience is the first thing you need if you plan to be a teacher. 


     8pm, time for dinner. Mum cooked fried fish, mixed vege, prawn, and guess what-Shark fin soup! Woohoo~~ Yummy.. dried scallop,crab meat, chicken fillet, shark fin and whisky-the combination is undeniably delicious!! I had like 2 bowl of it. *burp*


     What i like the most when im home is the super fast internet connection where i can load 4 to 5 youtube video and fb game at the same time without waiting! And im loving my comfy room.. =)

My First Performance for Masterclass

     11th of March 2011.. My band was chosen by the head of contemporary department to perform during masterclass. There're 3 band performing and we're the last band to perform that day. It was a masterclass by percussionist Steve Thornton. He grew up in New York and has worked and appeared on albums with Herbie Hancock, Mongo Santamaria, Miles David and pianist McCoy Tyner and Tracy Chapman, Tania Maria, Jon Lucien, Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson, Wow!! I can't believe he's playing on the stage with us, and he's so friendly and such a great person to meet.
     We played Ponteio and the other bands played Spain and Incognito. It was great but at the same time i felt really nervous. It was a great experience and i actually overcome my fear, maybe we played that song on stage before. Besides, my band members(Eliz, Ekin, Xiuxi, Emma, Ian, Wen, Quek & Ash) did a very good job. =)
     I love the version of Spain played by one of my Senior-Ganes, and his solo lines was superb. Aih wish i can play like him... Hmm.. =) So this is Steve Thornton..

     Went to Jogoya with honey on Wednesday night. The service was bad, but the food is nice!! We made out reservation but we still need to line up to get our bill. (pay before you go in).
     There various kind of food-Japanese, Chinese, Western, Teppanyaki style, etc. The sashimi is fresh, and the Raw Oyster(my fav) is super nice! Besides there's sushi and some Japanese food but i dont know what to call them.
     I like the Fat Tiu Chiong(Monk jump over the wall) and also the herbal chicken soup. They serve some Dimsum and also Lohmaikai(Glutinous rice with Chicken). They also serve abalone, sea cucumber they're real expensive if you eat it outside.
     I dont really like their western food. The only one i like is the Fish bake with cheese. As for dessert, they serve Haagen-Daz and also New Zealand ice-cream. I like their Green Tea mousse cake and also Strawberry Cream Cake. There're other kind of dessert, you need to see it yourself. I didnt take any picture as i was busy eating. 2 hours of buffet war. So many people there, but they refill the food very quickly.
     For all the good food, it cost only less than RM100 for 2, they're having a buy 1 free 1 discount now til April.  Go try it yourself, you will not regret! =)

Klang One Day Trip

     It was Friday and my housemate came up with an idea to have a one day trip to PD-to comfort the "just got rejected man-Baby G". So all of us agreed and suddenly, sad face of Rubin came telling me; " Karyen ar, you guys enjoy lar, im not going.. =( my mum said i cant play water wo.. so i'm goin back Klang now wit Waipeng..".
     Lol, it was so funny lookin at her face.. Me and khailing then asked her to call her mum again and tel her we change our plan, we're goin to Melaka instead.. : ) At last, she gained the permission. 
    It's Friday night and all of us discuss bout the trip, and dont know how la.. We end up goin to Klang.. JS volunteered to wake everybody up at 5.30am coz we're moving at 6.30am. End up, i;m the one that woke everybody up and we start our journey at 7.30am. Duh~
     So our first spot is Zhong Kok restaurant.. we had our breakfast there.. Yumm.. love the half-boiled egg and toast. We then head to Taman Botani. Ah there was so many ppl that we have to wait for like an hour plus to gt the rented bicycle.. I tot i can cycle, but mana tau- I CANT! not as easy as expected!! So end up, me and Khailing giving Bicycle lesson to Rubin.. "Rubin cant cycle! Hahaha!!!"
     It was tiring but fun.. Next Spot - RUBIN HOUSE - funny... we went there to gt a shower and had some snacks there then move out butt to eat "Yao Yao Ping" and fried Chicken-Famous at Klang. 
     Lalala.. everybody's half dead and sleepy.. Ah.. then went to Jusco Bukit Tinggi for window shopping-"full of wuliao-ness". 
     6 something, we went to Pandamaran to have our Bak Kut Teh dinner there. To me, it's the best in Klang and i guess it's the only Bak Kut Teh that have dried cuttle fish in the soup. Yumm!! Poor Wenchong gt diarrhea so he went to the nearby Chinese restaurant and made his cake there... 
    After an hour of Bak Kut Teh session, we decided to move to our next spot.. Suddenly Wenchong found out that he lost his key and recalled that he left it at the Restaurant just now. So he ran back to get his key but unfortunately it;s CLOSED!!
     So we find the way to call the owner, and after hassle we finally gt the number and waited for an house. It was so tiring and all of us agree to just go home. And it was only 10.30pm. =.=

I ♥ my Family

     Just now was the end of MBE class. I was waitin for honey to fetch me at the stall near the exit. So i sat there and gave my mum a call informing her that i'm not going back home this week coz i wanna go out with my friends to PD. Suddenly mommy said Baby Bro ate something rotten and ask him to wash his mouth and gargle with water.
     After awhile, i called mum back and asked her to pass the phone to Baby Bro so that i can talk to him and he's ok. Just dont know why, my tears rolled down my cheek once i heard his voice. He's cute and adorable. I miss him so much and wanted to go home now and give him a big hug. Too bad i promised to go PD with honey and friends tomorrow. I feel bad and miss baby bro badly. I feel bad for not being by his side to take care of him. Feel bad by not staying with him and accompany him, see him grow up day by day.
     I was so embarrassed to break down at school. I just sat at the corner and sob softly, without lettin my coursemate know. And still cant let the feeling go now. I miss him too badly. Have not seen him for almost 3 weeks now. Let the time past faster and I'll fly back home next Friday right after my class.
     And i told baby that i've bought some toys for him which made him laugh and say "yay" happily. The first thing that he said when i called him was " Jie are you coming back now?" and i just cant stop crying bout it. I felt so hard to tell him "no, im NOT coming back today". I know he miss me and my bro who's studying in MIA now. I would be hard for him next time when another brother of mine come to study in KL.
     He used to have us by him side all the time, but now all of us need to come here for our studies. Who's going to teach him how to play those games, which button to press? I mean.. my parents wouldn't know that. They dont play those kind of games. *sigh*... =(
     I miss Foongfoong badly now and how i wish i can see him everyday and play games with him, look at him when he fall asleep. He's so cute. Just one more week to go!!! Stop Crying like a  HAMBURGER Chen Karyen!!
     I was about to post this blog and suddenly Rubin came and knocked my door. LOL it was funny to look at her frighten by my swollen eyes. I asked her not to ask more or else I'm gonna cry again and she said " Oh OK i go back to my room now, walk back like Doraemon" Hahaha!!!

Karyen Is On DIET!

     YES I'm on DIET! I've been putting alot of weight recently. Ate alot during my semester break in Dec and then CNY and Valentines Day! And i'm feeling guilty. I started to feel the tightness of my pants when i try to put them on these few days. No!!! I cant let this go on or else im gonna be a piece of fat meat wrap in my tight jeans-Dumpling!
     I feel so lifeless without good food. I mean food is like heaven u know.. Imagine u r melting a piece of dark chocolate in ur mouth, the aroma, ah... ♥♥ Stop dreaming Karyen!!!
     No rice for dinner, better for lunch as well. Very light meal for lunch and oats for dinner. Besides I'm gonna take a cup of water mix with 2 tablespoons of apple cyder vinegar everytime after dinner. Incase u wanna try this out, u need to wait for 30 minutes after every meal. U can take it three times a day and Apple Cyder Vinegar is easily available in super market + it's cheap. Like only RM10++ for a big bottle of it and can last for like a few months.
     Btw, my diet plan failed last 2 days. The day before yesterday was because of those snacks in Rubin's room. Omg.. the kuih bahulu and dried longan... argh!! As for yesterday, i was tempted by the smell of KFC chicken and had a piece of it, thou i took some oats and breads before that. =( And i'm goin back hometown today-which means that there'll be plenty of nice food waiting for me(my mum is a good cook).
