My First Performance for Masterclass

11th of March 2011.. My band was chosen by the head of contemporary department to perform during masterclass. There're 3 band performing and we're the last band to perform that day. It was a masterclass by percussionist Steve Thornton. He grew up in New York and has worked and appeared on albums with Herbie Hancock, Mongo Santamaria, Miles David and pianist McCoy Tyner and Tracy Chapman, Tania Maria, Jon Lucien, Mariah Carey and Michael Jackson, Wow!! I can't believe he's playing on the stage with us, and he's so friendly and such a great person to meet.
We played Ponteio and the other bands played Spain and Incognito. It was great but at the same time i felt really nervous. It was a great experience and i actually overcome my fear, maybe we played that song on stage before. Besides, my band members(Eliz, Ekin, Xiuxi, Emma, Ian, Wen, Quek & Ash) did a very good job. =)
I love the version of Spain played by one of my Senior-Ganes, and his solo lines was superb. Aih wish i can play like him... Hmm.. =) So this is Steve Thornton..

Irresponsible Adult

Wonder why some people are so irresponsible. Assignment was given one week earlier and she can't finish it on time, she didnt even start to do it..
She just complaint that she's worry about her future, what's she gonna do when she grad and blah blah, but she dont even wanna put some effort in her studies, so what for complainin.. All of us sacrifice our time for the assignment, non of us know how to do it so we gotta search the infos online, burnt the midnight oil doing it.
Never feel guilty for not doing but blaming the lecturer for not telling her when is the due date, Hello all of us know when is the due date, where's ur EAR?  At first, the lecturer said he's gonna deduct 40% of the overall mark for late submission but when the class end, she talk to the lecturer privately.
Im not sure whether the lecturer will deduct her marks or not, but this is not her first time. For not completing assignment on time and blame other people for it, and hand it on 2 to 3 weeks later. She think that she's very attractive and persuasive?? Or maybe she think she can retake it next semester? Too rich... I wonder, dont she feel embarrassed mixing with peers that are younger than her?
So damn irresponsible and I bet she's gonna find me and ask me how to do the assignment! What can i say? I must give her my soft copy of my assignment right?? Damn!

Yummy Yummy JOGOYA

Went to Jogoya with honey on Wednesday night. The service was bad, but the food is nice!! We made out reservation but we still need to line up to get our bill. (pay before you go in).
There various kind of food-Japanese, Chinese, Western, Teppanyaki style, etc. The sashimi is fresh, and the Raw Oyster(my fav) is super nice! Besides there's sushi and some Japanese food but i dont know what to call them.
I like the Fat Tiu Chiong(Monk jump over the wall) and also the herbal chicken soup. They serve some Dimsum and also Lohmaikai(Glutinous rice with Chicken). They also serve abalone, sea cucumber they're real expensive if you eat it outside.
I dont really like their western food. The only one i like is the Fish bake with cheese. As for dessert, they serve Haagen-Daz and also New Zealand ice-cream. I like their Green Tea mousse cake and also Strawberry Cream Cake. There're other kind of dessert, you need to see it yourself. I didnt take any picture as i was busy eating. 2 hours of buffet war. So many people there, but they refill the food very quickly.
For all the good food, it cost only less than RM100 for 2, they're having a buy 1 free 1 discount now til April.  Go try it yourself, you will not regret! =)

Aunty PANTY!

Gosh! Band practise was over. I was sitting on the Piano Bench with my back facing my band members during the prac. It was fine, until suddenly, a band member of mine(girl) came told me that she could see my panty. Curiously asked why dont she come and tell me earlier, she told me that it'll be real awkward if she just walk near and tell me.
Ok fine, true also "la". I blushed after knowing that everybody at my back could see it, and i sat there for like 30 mins for the band prac! Fark.. Ok i blushed after she told me, i dont know why..
When i was keeping my quarter-inch cable(google it if you wonder why a quarter-inch cable), a guy who was in the band prac came and told me, Hey i can see ur panty la, it was pink rite, hahaha, a bit old old and like aunty wan(LOL)". After hearing that i dont know what reaction to give him, a slap, shout at him or just walk away.. I just remain speechless and stare at him angrily.(!!!!!) I'm angry but feel so bad and embarrassed at the same time ! I tot it was a half an hour class, so i'll just wear sth comfy for class. Mana tau.. such embarrassing things happened..
So the Moral of the Story is: Go check ur wardrobe now and make sure you dont wear Aunty style panty when u go out, esp when u're wearing a low cut jeans! Separate them and only wear comfy aunty panty at home!!

Incase if you're wonderin, aunty panty means those high waist  panty which have unattractive colours like light pink, beige, yellow and etc but they're definitely very comfy!
